Plum Apple Crumble

INGREDIENTS

Apple Filling:

  • 1kg green apples

  • 1 tbsp flour

  • ¼ cup Bonne Maman Plum Conserve

  • ¼ cup brown sugar

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • ¼ tsp cinnamon

Crumble:

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 150g melted butter
  • ¼ tsp salt
METHOD
  1. Preheat oven to 180ºC.

  2. To make the filling, peel apples and cut into small cubes. Combine all apple filling ingredients in a bowl.
  3. To make the crumble, add all ingredients into a bowl and mix until clumps form.
  4. Add the apple filling into a baking dish and top with the crumble mixture.
  5. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes then cover loosely with foil and let cool for 10 minutes.
